Hello Keith_typeR,
Seriously, i will be very happy and delighted to have a GF buying
gift but... not so expensive gift.. 1.5K could be this poor lady
one month salary. I will not be happy if my GF spend so much on me.
Personally, a small simple handmade gift is really sufficient enuf
to make my day. hehehe... on the other hand.. I seriously would
like to have a carbon fiber bonnet.. hehhe...
Cheers,
Peter

Yo zEnnR,
I agreed with TRD_Sport_M. No matter how many things we suggest
here or how good the stuff is, the most impt thing is he
MUST
like it. I will suggest ICE installation to ya, but then come to
think abt it, if he has his own plans for the kinda installation he
likes, then your plan will backfired. It may even make things worse
if he is disappointed at the stuff you get for him. (Meaning: he
may wan something even better. But bcos u already got this for him,
he got no choice.) Although, I doubt he will be unhappy (even if he
is, he sure hides it from u), its still better to make your $1.5k
worth spending right??
Personally, i dun own a car. I'm looking from a normal guy's point
of view. I always tell my gf what I want so that both of us will
end up happy. I dun mind there is no surprise. You must remember
this: we are GUYS. And GUYS are practical. You can still surprise
him by bringing him to a workshop (his fav one) and tell him the
$1.5k budget you hav for him. I bet he will be extremely excited
and delighted abt it!
p/s: I can never understand why
you ladies can hav so many pairs of shoes!!
