dtaytc SG Hi, I am gng to buy a mitsubishi Lancer 1.6GLX Automatic version... currently driving a manual mode car though it do some FC saving but very troublesome and have to hand brake on slope even on a gentle slope. So now getting a Auto one instead.. pls advise me whether is it good to buy the car now? current price now is $56988 and with 2K rebate. this is a auto basic lancer. For SPORTY one it will cost $62988 which is 6k more.. Will plan to add on the spoiler and sport rim. anyone know where can have a cheap modification of body kits and all sporty stuff.... Would it be advisable to get a Auto basic lancer?? pls advise me on the FC for this car... I heard is 10 ~ 12km / litre. that's low... my current car have a 14km/litre. Nowadays the petrol havs increased crazy to $1.61 / litre for class 95 type. so sad..... Anyone think that the COE will further reduce?? current COE is ard $17k which has just rise from $16k.. I intend to buy on OCT. So can place a deposit now... but if the COE will go down then I don't mind waiting for another 2 months.
sgcarsticker SG hi dtaytc, yes it is true the FC is not very satisfactory but i assure u you will enjoy the drive....very good handling when making S turn and U turn..... my lancer (auto) is about 1 year old already and the FC is always around 470-490km before every refill....(equals about 10-12km/l) but that is on Shell98......it becomes sluggish if you r using 92 or 95......hope this info is of use to u....cheers

dtaytc SG Hi sgcarsticker, Do u really speed alot? cause at this distance for 50L tank, it really use alot of petrol. how come some ppl can clock up to 550km? but urs only max. 590km... wow... how much u pay for monthly instalment?
sgcarsticker SG haha..i am not a speedster...only drive above speed limit nia.....ehh...the max is not 590km..it is 490km....mine is auto.....maybe those hitting 550km is 2003 Lancer 1.5l version........or maybe they r manual type......
