Actually not TCH fault lah, if you are the OC , PC ,CSm you dare to tekan his son and risk breaking your ricebox and with the commandos incident still fresh on everyone mind… In the first place it was never SAF doctrine to tekan recruit ….....its all teh overzealous SGT , PC who inherit the tradition from dunno who… Put it this way 13 years ago , I was enlisted in Army and my Pal enlisted in police Force. His treatment was similar to TCH sons or even better no night trg for him, even as a recruit he get to go to the mess and eat tibit and watch and he is not even a WH.. My big size pal has the phsyque of a Commandos yet posted to SPF and enjoy his NS … I am frail, weak and thin yet got posted to a shiong combat unit and suffered there.. Life is never fair sometime we are just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Lucky or unlucky

I think most people would fight for their friends and family.SMAP was trying to say this point by using the example of not being willing to die for the whitehorses to illustrate.

In the end, its about your loved ones and the pal beside you as the bullets impact all around you.NS's system sucks, but it taught us that if we can't defend what we love, then we are as good as dead.However, many other things in the world can teach us the same thing, in fact it's innate.

Practically nothing , other then taking up space inside the army , and adding numbers to the statistics..

Why ? Their lifes are worth more then us , the fact that the MIW revealed this "white horse" policy, not long ago, and ONLY after it has been discontinued means only one thing , they show discrimination..

If we're fated to fight it out, there's no way to escape at all , its also a matter of time ..

maybe tch son bmt was slack, but now he is in delta wing platoon 3 ocs. same platoon as my brother. i called home yesterday and found out that the ocs instructors are not giving him special treatment. instead he get it a lot worse than the rest of them. so maybe his bmt was a little slack. but it shouldnt be the case for ocs. cos delta is always the wing choosing the safos and sms scholars. its field camp is 10day compared with the rest of the wings, so u cant say its slack now.

white horse treatment is different, you cant blame the system alone, sometimes as instructors, u dont want your ass chewed off just cos u were a little too harsh. this is ppl's career u are talking abt.

anyway unfair treatment exist throughout your entire life, complain a while, then move on. its really no use thinking abt it and making yourslef unhappy for the rest of your NS. just look on the bright side of things. Laughing

guys, lets not blast each other for opinions lar. SAF is unfair. The world is unfair also wad. Look at the thousands of innoncent children dying in africa out of starvation. What have they done to die like that? Nothing.

Used to be from one of those over-zealous companies from BMT, shan't name. We get up, finish our 5bx, complete our run, and on the way marching to cookhouse, and our neighbouring companies JUST wake up only.

When we ask our csm why we are always super early, when other coys can sleep in late, he just answer, "oh, then u all can beat the traffic wad..." SAF never fails to win a middle finger salute from me when it comes to cock excuses.

Then again, most of the guys from our coy are quite proud to pass out from such a company, tho we get a lot of saigang+extras+earlier and longer than norm training. Served us pretty well when we went to our respective units. COs we were already mentally prepared for whatever sh!t there is to come.

Besides... ORD LOH!

during my man ACT, i always hear my man say, "why we always kana this sh|t?"

Sh|ts are:

1. 1st bookout at 1659hrs. everyother bookout from than on for the whole frame of ACT. earilest at 1500hrs.
2. Field training alway last to reach back camp area.
3. Got the most standby.
4. Got the most scolding.
5. Got the most volunteer work in Coy line.
6. Got the less canteen break.
7. Last PL to lights off.
8. One make mistake all kana.
...
...
...
All this sh|t change after BN turn OPS. (once a while squeeze them when they start to lack)

the returns are:
1. 1st best soldier in BN level.
2. Best within the Best. Best PL of the Best Coy. (Commended by ATEC)
3. Always work together.
4. Always ready to go.
5. Always ready to stand up for each other.
6. All this made them so closed to each other that till today still have meet up during free time.

Why should you expect life to be fair?

Of course poorer folks have to take this kind of unequal treatment.

But you don't have to take it quietly.

I served with one of our former president's son for a short time. After failing horribly at OCS he was kicked down to private clerk. For a president's son not to be able to pass OCS despite all the slack they cut him, he must be a really hopeless case.

And he was.

As a private, he was able to drive to camp and park his car not 3 spaces from the Bde Comd's car. He was a sotong dumbfcuk but he was competent enough to drive.

All the officers and even the dog-shxt CSM treated him like gold. As I was a corporal and also at an age where I felt I had nothing to lose, once or twice I gave this fellow a piece of my mind as he was extremely blur-king and lazy.

So stop complaining about unfair treatment. If you think someone has it better than you go do something about it. Scold them, harrass them just don't beat them or you're gone case. Me and my friends all did while growing up. It was a great way to get back at society.

Soldiers, I believe the main aim is to bitch out during training so that you dun during a war. If you want to live the good life during training, let me know. I'll stay clear from you as soon as operations begin. What I'm trying to say is: It may be unfair but at the end of the day, the guy who goes home is the bigger winner.

There's also another saying, dun compare, it just makes your life worse.

but let us for one moment dream that there are no white horse treatment in the saf. there is no preferential treatment for people with branded parents, how more effective the saf would be.

but personally i think the white horse treatment will always be here because influential people will want to protect their children. our life is cheap while their live is expensive.
