Does anyone of you hear this?

SixSentinels SG

Jialat lo! For the past few months I keep on hearing the ‘do-do-doo’ sound that WindowsLive/MSN Messenger makes when people message you, even when theres no one talk to me I still occassionally hear the alert sounds, like once every 30 minutes…is this a new mental disorder associated with overdose of instant messenging?

Question

Mute your system sound.

If cannot, smash the speakers.

SixSentinels SG

problem is, THE SOUNDS ARE NOT REAL! they're in my head!

ditzy SG

There is this set as away after x mins, if the user on the other end were to just move his mouse, it'll go into online mode on your msn, and then you can hear that stupid sound. Laughing

Change the MSN alert sound to a rock music. Then your head will keep remembering the rock music alerts.

Your condition is serious. You must change the alerts to techno.

SixSentinels SG

can u teach me how to do that? Embarassed

SixSentinels SG

oh nvm i found it liao Laughing

Lord_Of_Hayan SG

Go to Windows Live Messenger 8.0

Tools-> Option-> Alerts and sounds.

Look at the Windows Live Messenger Events. Then select "New instant message" and click browse. Change your sounds. (Note, the sound must be in WAV format)
