agree, the more prominent supplier for cr-123a is energizer (photo), blue color one and u do know how pricy energizer batts can cost.

imho, surefire is not needed in 90% of the situations....a maglight is more than enough and....its more efficient, less energy input, almost same brightness and last longer.

if u going to use torch very often like more than 6 nights monthly then surefire is ok loh....if just for a yearly camping trip i think maglight can last long enuth.

warranty? Surefire don’t give warranty for the bloody expensive bulb what, what’s the diff? Charging at that sky price (& worst buying in Singapore cost even more), they MUST give warranty mah! Right or Not huh? Initially I thought SureFire really got bargain, then found out the $60+ model is a @#% plastic model & like a maglite with twist-to-turn-ON/OFF one, KNN! Half the price maybe I will consider it! Hai~

Me Surefire? Cheaper price maybe lah, but anyway I won't come out $50 for a torchlight (don't even consider $40 for a PLASTIC torch), not really think I will buy Surefire in anytime sooner! Warranty for the surefire torch (BODY)?? Hey frankly speaking, my cheapo few years old energizer torch still have everything functional except the lame lamp bulb, I don't think I bother to use it anymore so what if energizer give me LIFETIME warranty? Confused
