Definitely Malaysia.... Indonesia should focus more into their internal probs rather than divert the attention to Malaysia... Indonesia simply cant afford the war if it happens...

The funny things is, they try to create havoc in M'sia by hacking a selective website which was ignored by Malaysian, but the moment their websites being hacked by so called Malaysian Hooligans they asked nicely for Malaysian to stopped the action.......

Damn real funny ......

There’s been a lot of informed and uninformed speculation and banter in this forum about a scenario of war between Singapore and Malaysia or Singapore and Indonesia. How do you think Singapore would respond if war breaks out between Malaysia and Indonesia?

nismoS132 SG

wait till both sides exhaust all resources and manpower, than go for the taking! Twisted Evil

zenden9 SG

Malaysia! Hands down. Indonesia putting a decent warship into action is already a problem, talk abt fighting naval war? LOL!!!

Black Aces SG

Indonesia is definitely not in a position to win any military engagement with Malaysia...at the moment.

From the way I see this, this whole anti-Malaysia thingy in Indonesia is just another wayang. Rolling Eyes

Frankly speaking, do you think the 2 Islamic countries will come to blows between each other? NAH.....but if you were to throw S'pore into the equation, it may be a different story (esp if the opposite parties is the the one across the Causeway). Twisted Evil

fudgester SG

It is definitely not in anyone's interest to have a war break out between Malaysia and Indonesia.

If it does happen, we will quite literally be caught in the crossfire. We'll all be in deep s**t.

Fairyland SG

Interesting question......

Singapore will loose that's what matters to me.

For a new and politically 'not so strong' Indonesian President looking to re-build it's economy and a country with FDI dropping and large Yen debt(?)....

ASEAN will win!

vindicated SG

of course INDONESIA lah!
can't u see those blocks are de facto part of Indonesia's region?

vindicated SG

do u urself know the meaning of wayang?

A naval engagement between malaysian and indonesian around the disputed island is hardly a war. What do they have to throw at each other? Can't see why we are in the crossfire.

It is actually good that indonesia starts telling the malaysian to back off from advancing further after claiming Sipadan and Ligitan. If not, after claiming Pedra Branca the malaysian may want to claim the singapore island.

Sulawesi Sea?
Read before Sun Zi's Art of War? "Know oneself , know the others , hundred battles fought , hundred battles won.."
Without battling an eyelid , Malaysia will win , Indonesia has force deployment problems , During the 26th December 2004 Tsunami , i think our aid arrived faster then them doing it themselves.

War is all about "blitzkrieg" , in terms of technology and quantity , Malaysia wins hands down.

In terms of ASEAN , Singapore wins everyone. Period .

Even if all the member countries in ASEAN wants to destroy us . We will prove to be a tiny diamond..small but hard to crack.
