I want to throw up my dinner.
The goat chevre flavor is still lingering all over me... my
stomach, my throat, my mouth. Eeks!
I had a terrible dinner at PS Cafe last evening, and I swear I'll
never go back there for a meal again. Dessert, maybe.
The menu was so limited. I didn't have any idea what to pick, so
feeling adventurous, I randomly picked Brinjal Stack. Which turned
out to be a nightmare - I never liked brinjal to begin with! But I
thought if given a stroke of luck, brinjals might not taste like
brinjals in PS Cafe! Oh, I was so wrong!
And I did not read the menu properly...
Had I seen "goat chevre" in the description, I would never have
picked Brinjal Stack... not even if I'm dead.
I only realized what it was in my mouth, as
I swallowed it.
The pungent flavor permeated into the underlying
risotto, of which I only ate the perimeter that was
untainted.
I had to wrestle with the toppling heap of greens covering
everything else, and a forest fire almost broke out with the greens
nearly falling into the adjacent tealight candle.
In the end, I think I only ate one-sixth of the entire plate.
Dessert was fine... I had Banana Cream Pie, which was really
nothing more than slices of banana put onto a biscuit crust,
caramel drizzled over, whipped cream covered, chocolate sauce
drizzled over cream. I can make that myself loh.
My sister wanted to order the Green Ginger Green Apple Green
something cake... then the staff tried to prevent us from doing so
by recommending something else, like the Carrot Cake. Like there
was something wrong with the cake, or it was really so bad tasting
that even people working there would warn diners against it.
So suspicious!
