Free parking at Kent Vale near NUS

Hey

You can actually park at Prince Geoge's Park Residences (PGP).

The parking is free. (Although they did not state it)

And it's a stone throw away (2 stops if you want to take the internal shuttle bus) from PGP to the Science Faculty.

ermmm... no lots means no lots wad..how can you be so sure its bcoz of those cheats.. Smile even for a carpark meant for season parking...normal cars can enter also..but if you get caught for parking there...here comes the campus security

Last I heard, PGP wasn't free... I had friends try to beat the camera there as well... they just changed the rule?

Kent Vale is pretty empty but I doubt u’ll wanna park there since u are in Science… Still needa take shuttle bus (Its paid for whether u use it anot so u mite think y not juz tk it, but the bus drivers are seriously lousy drivers with no respect for pedestrians and passengers)... For me I drive to NUS so that I can juz go rite to the doorstep with total convenience… Although I’m in Eng, I juz pay $20 a mth for the season parking so that I can park anywhere in NUS and go anywhere I like haha

Season parking Only for specific car parks isnt it? which car park are you referring to? Kent vale for engin students...ok lar..maciam walking to bus stop like dat lor..

But back to the topic..w2k_83 is rite..might wanna jus park at kent and take a bus..drive car still need to find lot and walk..bus stops nearer usually..anyway talking bout NUS I sian liao..jus another month of holidays. Time flies during the hols Razz

ok thanks for all the comments and suggestions given to mi….. i should be driving to NUS, park at Kent Vale and take the shuttle bus to the place tat i wan to go in sch…. Haiz 1 mth more to the starting of sch term…..

In my opinion, I think you'll save more time just by taking the bus from Jurong to NUS... there's a bus stop at the track, right next to School of Computing which is opposite Faculty of Science... You go park at Kent Vale then wait for the bus to bring you to Science, quite long... esp if it's peak hour when everyone is rushing to go for lessons... the bus is kinda small too... smaller than SBS bus...

I've had frens who tried to do what you're doing, but gave up after a while... really not worth it... You want to drive for the convenience, but you still end up taking the feeder bus... plus, the feeder bus waiting times lengthen to half an hour after 7.30pm... so if you're stuck in science and you still have your car parked in Kent Vale, you'd better know the timing of the buses... I suggest you try taking the bus during school time first... if you really think the driving is better, then park at Kent Vale... try boths routes and see which one works for you...
