Ekit08 SG I would like to know if you are an officer during your NS will you tend to find jobs more easily than those who are not? Is there any bias in your work place between those who are officers and those who are not in NS? Thanks
LazerLordz SG I read somewhere that some firms would rather not hire officers based on the fact that they get called up quite regularly.
wuming78 SG by looking at the certificate of service. some employers do look at that, although i wont say it plays a huge factor. being an officer may give one an edge, especially if the employer was also an officer and appreciates what it means.
Kaczynski SG Eh, nope....All NSFs will receive their COS @ the end of their service...Data inside includes ur ORD rank, length of service, vocation and service conduct (ranging from "Very Poor" to "Outstanding")... It is in a light blue colour...
chengyu SG It should be obtained from the Chief Clerk at ORD together with pink IC, NS booklet, NS Man handbook.
