technically, u cannot remove the limitor. unlike the speed limitor,
there is no such thing as a "limitor" function built into the ecu
for power. power is usually limited by way of the ecu mapping,
keeping ignition, fuel injection cycle in check such that the
engine does not become "over efficient" to make more than 280 hps.
of course, we all know that some manufacturers will simply "quote"
the power at 280 hps for some models. actual fact is that they are
actually producing much more.
the only way u can "unlimit" this is to reprogram the whole ecu map
in order to tune for max power. of course, with more mods to
compliment the tuning (more boost, xhaust, intake etc) u can tune
for even greater gains.
.......lol...ceecookie, speed wise , for stock vehicle can be
limited by their ecu.power is never limited, or cannot say "remove
the limiter"cos throw in some hardware back-up & u running more
then 280bhp liao......lik if u see got some magz, got those 450
horse sti....
