Need help with Aircon fan. Spoilt

Hi there,

Need to enquire something about repair of this fan that is spoilt in my bonnet. Is that the air-con fan? Not running now. The guy quoted me $160 to change the fan. My car is a Hyundai Accent. Is $160 the market rate to change that fan? Sorry, Im not really a car person, Crying or Very sad so I need to find out from you guys the rates and where is a reliable mechanic

go to another shop and check if they offer the same or lower price lor Very Happy

price of parts varies from car to car. for me (me drives a honda), i think 160 would be reasonable for a new fan with labour included. best way is 2 take ur car to the local distributor for hyundai (think its komoco motors?) and get a quote from them. these guys will usually charge higher than market price but wun be too far from the market price. if 160 is cheaper then this price then i’d say u’re pretty safe from getting ripped off.
