Not ruthless, it's selfish. You don't have to accommodate them,
but they should?
After all, there are four or five levels in Woodlands library. Even
if you have no wish to move out of the third floor, you should at
least move to another corner to read your study materials or
books.
If they are still making enough noise to disturb you, then that's
when you complain.
