Changing of yellow light to white

Currently driving a 3-wks old lancer glx cvt... have not gone for 1st 1000km servicing yet but thinking of changing the yellow light to the white color. Not the HID type but just change to the white color type of bulb. But will this void the warranty?

How about fog-lights? May also fix them together when changing to white light but will this also void the warranty?

No.Yellow lights will always win the white lights. I hv fixed on my white lights on my evo Before and it seems very dim,although it's nice to make ur reflector looks blue.U may try to add on fog lights,and use the normal bulbs.If u really looking for white lights,HID is always safer in a sense u hv a better vision in the night.

white light is not good if you have problems seeing at night as the light being thrown out is not bright… yellow light is better.. white light only improves the look of the car.. if you want bright, then you have to change to HID… but singapore streets are so bright… so it is up to your preference..

White light will not void warranty if u r just changing the bulbs. It's very simple to change back, DIY. If u r thinking of HID, it's better to confirm if it's legal for ur car.
White lights on street should be ok, but if ur going to malaysia it's advisable to use yellow light, especially when it is foggy.

yes,did checked it out with the auto shop that i went,also checked with LTA,it's approve. But did not seen them fixing this HID cos went somewhere when they are fixing. Is HID bulbs easy to install anyway?

If u r referring to to those DIY HID bulbs, very easy and cheap to install.
But if u are referring to those that comes in whole set, very bright one it's gonna be expensive and illegal, got to check with LTA.

i am a blind mouse at night. have to reach quite near then i can see things clearly. so im not adviced to change to white light?

I suppose the thread starter was asking about warranty issues. Yes. As long as u change it urself or outside ur authorised dealer, the warranty will be voided unless there’s some special clause that states it doesn’t.

Since it's a 2 min job to change bulbs, just change it back to stock if u are claiming warranty.
