Looks like a scare e-mail.
But it *is* a fact that chickens are injected with lots of hormones
to make them grow up faster and larger. There's alot of debate over
the effects of that (as with GM foods), but no real conclusive
evidence has been published yet... finding out the actual effects
require long term studies.
