Go for synthetic right from the start. What I heard is that at
the assembly stage, they have already test run the engine and
change it with mineral oil to last till 1000km. So at your 1000km
svc, switch to synthetic oil and remain with it…it is much better
and gives new car the needed protection…if your car cost tens of
thosuand, what;s $40/- more for synthetic oil?
