Its a MPV with a almost all round sunroof and there's also the cover to cover the sunroof.....to get the sunroof's size put three normal sunroof in a row and see it's total size....and thats the size of the Lafesta's sunroof..

but it's not meant for the climate here, so what if u get the view...even with the air-con on ur skin will kenna "toasted" after a , say, ride on NS highway for a few hrs rite?

design of nissan has not gone from strength to strength, i wonder if the tie up wif renault designers has somewhat affected them to such an extreme that they cant design cars that have a lasting look, tiz model look like a likely candidate that Singapore Casket would consider.

i've driven most of the nissan sunny models and nothing comes close in terms of lasting look then my 93 Sunny aka as B13 series ( I luv their eccs engines, power unleashed). They rest of the series that followed were simply lousy in terms of design (juz a few facial mod) and engine power.

Hyper CVT..., forget it it's juz like driving an electric car >>> lame no pick up at all, I drove the Prarie and was attracted to the vehicle juz for the digital dashboard. Unless you floor the accelerator, even juz overtaking a 10 footer on the E'way would be a drag.

having said tat, Nissan is still one of the best selling marque in singapore, second to Toyota i think. Rolling Eyes
Looking at the pic of lafesta, and seen the adver of it on tv, i guess this car is best driven around at nite (won't get baked alive). I won't want to be sitting in one in bright daylight man.... Very Happy

At least for Q1 they achieved record sales, juz hope that the lucky streak continues. A major prob if wif their air-con compressors. Wif all my previous nissan drives, it seems that as the a/c unit is installed locally, it tends to break down quite often. My sunny's ride was very quiet in the cabin until the a/c unit broke down and having it replaced the a/c vents emitted a sound every time i turn the a/c/ on, like a vacuum suction.

When the a/c unit is under warrenty it's ok, at least no cost incurred . But when the warrenty expires, it actually cost 200 - 300 to get a new one if I'm not wrong and that's from workshops outside. Just imagine the cost if you were to send the vehicle back to tan chong.

Frankly speaking, in their stable only the Infinity if a good ride along wif the brougham vip, that is of course you could afford the one major grip...... > they burn petrol like water. The confort level and ride is comparable to Lexus anytime. And for those wif loads of $$$, the ultimate ride would be th President.

I drive a Priarie and the HyperCVT works fine, it's smooth with feeling of gear change and the pick up is definitely not sluggish. I can out sprint most car from the traffic light. The car layout provides one of the best visibility all round with hardly any blindspot and parking it is a breeze esp with reverse sensor. Sliding door and openable rear boot window are blessing.

However the cabin noise and fuel consumption (8.5-9) needs to work on.

This car has a very stupid look AND i dont really seen them on road.May be all think it’s ugly. Nissan gt to buck up in their exterior looks. LATIO/ LAFESTA is the ugliest.

You should have been in the car first before making such remarks!!

I own a Lafesta but never been toasted. You can open the cover under the sunroof to enjoy the view but of course you only do this when the weather is right. Only a FOOL would open the cover on a hot day!!

The car is great. So far, fuel consumption is approximately 11.5 -12 km, economical for a 2L MPV.

well i wonder why all the MPV Nissan made (Lafesta, Presage etc) are all 2000cc type.....other brand r mostly 2400cc that is betta then Nissan.....anyway Nissan is good for the GTR and 350Z....

nothing much against it in terms of interior design, fuel efficiency

but does not score very well in the looks department. Too boxy or so called square.

if only the nissan designers can improve on the external outlook eg like the mazda5 or even Wish, then i am sure there wil be more lafestas on the road.
