RSAF vs IAF rersults?

YI SG

i would rather wait for the report than believe hearsay.

kopiosatu SG

whether they have wheels or not is a question, hahaha~

from what i know, a wheel... yes, ONE wheel costs... $1X,XXX

SibeiSuayKia SG

But there's no denying that our pilots train in south china sea and lotsa airspace around the world as well..

So What If IAF's SU-30 MKM is better?
TUDM's SU-30 pilot could just well more slacker?

Suppose to be tomorrow's news but I post it here early for all to read.

CHIEF OF AIR FORCE'S INTRODUCTORY VISIT TO INDIA
Singapore's Chief of Air Force Major-General (MG) Lim Kim Choon will be visiting New Delhi, Gwalior, Jodhpur and Agra during his introductory visit to India from 24 to 29 Oct 04. MG Lim will also visit the ongoing exercise between the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and the Indian Air Force (IAF) at Gwalior Air Force Station.

YI SG

Here's something:
Mindef Press Release: http://www.mindef.gov.sg/display.asp?number=2233

In response to a media query on an Indian newspaper report that Indian Air Force fighters had proved more than a match for the RSAF's F-16s in Exercise SINDEX, the MINDEF Spokesman said:

"We can understand why the Indian media would come out with a sensational story like this.

We are very pleased with the exercise and the performance of the RSAF's pilots and aircraft. The Indian Air Force has been an excellent host, and as their guest, it would not be courteous for us to comment on the specific outcomes of the exercise."

Both air forces found the exercise to be of great professional value. The RSAF certainly looks forward to future such exercises with the Indian Air Force.

YI SG

heheh.. another diplomatic speech which tells us nothing. thanks though. Smile

Obersturmfuhrer SG

Cut out all this diplomatic BS, my guess is a stalemate.

kopiosatu SG

muahahahahaha typical answer.

at least it doesn't give him a higher chance to get shot.

SibeiSuayKia SG

We pay millions of dollars..for every F-16 C/D..

and we get this shlt??!!

RSAF went all the way to india to be defeated rofll..

Obersturmfuhrer SG

Is there a need to point out to you that IAF pilots are all seasoned veterans? Plus the ROE was fixed by them, probably placing our pilots in unfamilar situations. And one other thing:

IT IS NOT A COMPETITION.

So what if we lose? If we learnt something from it, we're still winners in the end. Rolling Eyes

SibeiSuayKia SG

Think that SG should publish the true results...we pay our taxes 1 ok!

If mahathir reads it, he will be laughing all the way with his 18 SU-30 MKM..
and will be even more action

You mean those pilots who fly around in MIG-21 around Kashmir , counted as season??

=D , is there also a need to tell you that for every pilot we have , we can hire X number of IAF pilots?

sbst275 SG

Actually it is not right for us to comment as we are their guest

But seriously, India's arms arsenal is quite strong now...

Obersturmfuhrer SG

That doesn't mean you own or control them. This is NOT the US, wake up.

sbst275 SG

SBSK, this is just an joint exercise to test our pilots skills

Relax

kopiosatu SG

you don't pay tax. why are you complaining.

pilots pay tax too.

kopiosatu SG

true.

even if its a "loss", it will be taken as a lesson learnt, without lives lost.

if you keep harping on losing, then you've got learn alot more to learn in life.

landwarrior99 SG

Last Feburary, the IAF pitted Mig 21, 27 and 30 against US F15's.
The US were taken by surprise at the quality of the pilots there & realised that they (US pilots) had more to learn.

Read full details at http://www.afa.org/magazine/Oct2004/1004train.asp

the magazine is Air Force Magazine.

In any case, the EX allowed RASF to pit their skills against Mig29s'.

SibeiSuayKia SG

Im beginning to lose my confidence on RSAF after this matter..

Rolling Eyes

kopiosatu SG

have fun. Rolling Eyes
