We use the same helmets as the yanks, the PAGST. Though for some
reason, CMPB seems to issue us helmets one size smaller then the
yankie standard. Most of us should be using L size, not the M the
SAF usually slaps us with. The helmet should cover most of our
ears, not leave half exposed as you see in most SAF soldiers.
Grenades kill mainly through frag, not blast, so if you get
something to catch all the fragments you have a high chance of
surviving, unless the helmet hits you as it is propelled by the
blast that is.
