Configure Email Access On Handphone

Anyone successfully done it on your handphone such that you can access your email via your handphone? I am toking abt email like yahoo and google mail not those pay money singnet, starhub, pacnet mail etc etc....

In the help pages for google it say can but I follow the steps cannot leh. Google supports POP3 but does Yahoo support that too?

Wonder if anyone successfully done it before. Can share the steps to configure?

Nokia one just go their website, put in your hp number, country, and the particular free webmail server of your wish, they will msg the settings to your phone, and you just save the settings you're ready to go. Laughing

But I reckon SE doesn't have such support for its users, other than their friendly customer helplines.

gmail can be accessed via WAP directly. More convenient.

oh, can meh? i tot have to call our service provider like starhub? and does it supports all nokia phone or selected nia?

Wat is the gmail URL? Same as www.gmail.com ?

How about Yahoo mail ?

For those keen to know it seems WAP the easiest way by keying in www.gmail.com but it is not very efficient and incur lots of GPRS charges as I believe everytime I connect up, it will download all the mail and not only on Unread mail only?

If I can get the email settings to work it will cut down downloading time. Furthermore using POP3 there are options like view Subject header only before user decide to download the whole mail.

Ok tat's it today for my exploration of email accessing via handphone. Waiting for the GPRS charges in my next bill hehe Mr. Green

yahoo supports POP3 but needs to be enabled under ur options when u log in via the web-based mail console.

best is use POP/IMAP on the phones. works like a charm. i have 3 accts on my messaging app. Wink
