How did she get number?
LAST Monday, I received a call from a Mandarin-speaking woman who
claimed she was from City Leisure. She told me I had been picked as
the winner of some prize and $1,200 worth of vouchers from some
purchases I made during the Great Singapore Sale.
What worries me is she had my NRIC number. I have no idea where she
got my contact number.
When I told her I was not interested, she slammed down the phone. I
was furious and called back but the employee would not tell me
where she got my contact or NRIC number, only that she worked for
City Leisure - the 'event organiser'.
