and he say that this is becuz it will make ur battery last longer.

Most phone batteries will take 2 or 3 charge-discharge cycles to reach maximum capacity actually.

First charge 8 hours because it is to ensure that the battery "sort of" get used to the maximum charge subsequently

i asked only cos i charge 3 hrs only i see the battery icon stopped moving - means full liao..

so i wondered how come that guy asked me charge 8 hrs..

when i bought k800i, no specific instructions on how long to charge the hp.

so i reach home, batt was half full.. i charge up till full.. and go out buy screen proctector and crystal casing..

muahaha.. full protection! handphone will last me till 2010!

that phrase has been outdated.

originally intended for NiMH and NiCd batteries, they are no longer applicable for Li-ion Polymer batteries.

just charge to full and u're ready to go. and try not to empty it too often.
