SpecOps87 SG Hi, Wondering how long does it take to travel to KL via KTM as compared to via a coach. Also any idea of the facilities onboard the KTM train and their rates? Thanks alot, as am thinking of making a trip to KL at the end of the month with my friends Thanks!
mhcampboy SG Trust me. Its better off in a bus coach rather than a train. Coach : 3 to 4 hours. Train : 5 to 6 hours. Reason is, the train stops at certain stations.

sbst275 SG Partly cos the track is single track... So when it reaches some station, the trains have to give way
mhcampboy SG Really? What coach company you use?? Certain coaches policy must have mandatory stops along the highway at restpoints. But seriously, most coaches will try to arrive KL in 4 hrs.
^tamago^ SG rare case. likely he went by route 1 halfway along NSE to tempat to refuel at their company base. kena before.
^tamago^ SG yes. hence those going north sleep a while kena woken up. after tat endure 3 hours. it's common. come back not so bad.
sbst275 SG Yong Peng??? Yong Peng got 2 exits leh But I remember 1 exit like only accessible from 1 side
^tamago^ SG he refuelled somewhere in tempat or segamat. he needs to use route 1 to get there. all the old kampung and very dark in the night one. he didnt use route 1 at jb side, u geddit? he was using route 1 north of yong peng.
sbst275 SG Actually at Melaka, that Ayer Keroh the R&R facilities are better leh as far as I been seeing
^tamago^ SG take from larkin RM25. but may have gone up a bit. i long time no take coach liao. rather fly.
sbst275 SG I know I know only Yong Peng can link to Fed Rt 1 That stretch can be very dangerous at night
