Xcert SG I going to esplanade on saturday...expecting enhanced security,road diversions,confusion and all...not really looking forward to it...
Xcert SG well...when I posted that reply....was just thinking of the new CCTV monitors that I saw on the news that were installed at City Hall MRT...not exactly heartening to know that singaporean lives are not as important as those IMF FTs...but at least because of them...we get something... I do think delegates or thier families do visit places of interest in singapore....so ya....that would include the zoo...

Xcert SG true...but U dont really see hardware being upgraded just because of them...its more like we are doing so many things just for IMF....which is essentially not wrong...but just a tad sad that why cant the things be done for the ordinary singaporeans...instead of relying on the IMF meeting to be held before we get them...
NT2 SG if the effort the put in to prepare for the meeting is used on the poor n needy in singapore…then i will be impressed.
chenc SG but there are so many other more important conference and meeting all year aound the world. dun see ppl being fussy over them. as if spore being the host actually directly affects the decision made by the imf ppl
