polarsnake SG There's no such thing as pirated UMD, those *ehem* games only come in the form of DVDs that you have to download into a memory stick.

kenshin_himura SG brick or not i can't gurentee but i can assure u that it isn't a right move provided u have another set of PSP... but thats just me opinion R1 R2 R3 are region codes that matter when it come to buying UMD videos R3= Region3 code = asian R2 and R1 is american and japan.... u have to check which code is ur PSP... mine is code 3... However games are not restricted by region codes.. so tats all have fun
Hanagata SG this one have to depends which region liaoz, mine friend of mine got ver 2.5 cannot downgrade it, some of the chips inside the psp is forbidding it to do so.
Classyfied SG for now rite.any version also can play chiong umd game.cuz after all it can be downgraded. :/ however, chiong games only a few..if u want to play the latest games u will need to upgrade.
