I know it's no laughing matter, this hole in your door, but I
can't help taking a cheeky dig;
"Make hole bigger, and turn it into a smaller window!"
Jokes aside, you need to bring this issue to a good workshop. They
will need to sand down the surrounding paint, apply putty, and
respray the entire door.
Could set you back about $500.
