[b]More than 10,000 evacuated from Suntec City in emergency
drill

Suntec City held an emergency exercise where more than 10,000
workers were evacuated from the five towers on Friday.
The evacuation started after 9am, and it took 45 minutes to ensure
everybody was accounted for.
The workers only returned to their offices after security officers
checked the buildings and declared them safe for re-entry.
Suntec City houses over 400 offices, each with its own fire
warden.
These fire wardens worked closely with the security officers during
the exercise on Friday to ensure everyone was accounted for.
Once a year, all the office towers conduct an emergency evacuation.
