Urroh SG That was only just a few years back. Who can remember those old singers and movies.. In those days the Hongkong movies was the rage on TV those days on every sun afternoon, we will watch the "Best partner" starring Sam Hui and the Botak(forgot his name). Their Antics was so funny.
jaydunkfull SG i used to play with those bubbles. its a gummy substance that can be blown into bubbles with a straw and the bubbles get holes very easily. i used to make bubble sculptures. dont know if the kdis play these things nowadays

Poolman SG when i was a boy , i stay along the kampongs at Toh Tuck Road , now the kampong has develope into the current Highgate condo , and Signature PArk Condo . This 36 doors will go pass my house everyday around 9am , it a routine for them to dispose the waste at Toh Tuck Waste Depot .

In place of the ERP gantry, there'll be a sentry post where a guard will take down the license plate no. of vehicles which passed the sentry without a sticker! 2) Also, there used to be lots of BP petrol stations around! Now I only see Esso, shell,caltex and Singapore Petroleum(Seldom see Mobil also ) 3)Remember Mr. Kiasu and the Kuppies? 4)The Bookworm club where its clubhouse is at Aljunied area? I think bookworm few years ago stopped production le! 5) For TV programs, remember "kids at work" ? "Kidzercise"? "Hippo and Friends" ? hehehe... 6)Scouts and Boys Brigade used to be famous CCAs(last time called ECA ).but most sec school now have either NPCC or NCC in place of them! 7) Millano pizza, anyone? 8 )Mat Cool ice cream? 9) GT stunt bicycles for bengs? 10) WYWY Wonderspace arcade? 11) Suntec city used to have a large maze where u can run about and throw giant rubber balls at each other. Great world city too! 12)The only well known supermarkets around are NTUC and a "lion minimart"

Always buy to throw people feet. 2) When paya leabar airport was still serving civilian Jumbo Jets, they flew over the city area and on top of HDB Flats in Macpherson. 3) Libraries was located at the void deck of Certain blks in some estate. Regional Libraries was not born yet. 3) Polyclinics was also located in the HDB Blocks. 4) Old computers like IBM 286. 5) Wolfenstein 3D Computer games which kills Hitlers. 6) Radio Television Magazine, Nanyang Siang Pau. 7) The New Paper costs 50cent then. Touts at the Lucky Plaza, Yellow Fountains inside Raffles Place Shopping Centers. 9) All women went to OLD KK Hospital to give birth, the only hospital in SG that do delivery. 10) Punggol and Sengkang was Fish Farms and Pig Farms. 11) You can have a Nice seaview at the Esplanade. (Old red Light District). Unblocked View cause Marina Bay was not reclaimed yet.
Urroh SG The old Orchard Cinema which below have a bowling arcade. Remember that i watch the MasK starring Jim Carrey at the Old Orchard Cinema. (located at the Same Place as now Orchard Cineleisure. Old Cathay, the old orange julius located beside it. Got watch a few movies there before it was close down.
markzz SG btw, now most Video arcades either use stored value cards or $1/ $0.50 coins! 1)Last time, almost all arcades use Tokens one! 2)Ya! Remember the taxis last time? whenever the cabbie exceeds the speed limit, a "Ting Tong! Ting Tong!" sound will be heard! LAst time Comfort Taxi flag down fee is how much, anyone can remember?
