Fuel Card/Reward Points

well, still waiting for delivery of the car.. this popped into my mind...

i'll be blowing lotsa dosh on fuel to feed the car... so to maximise returns, i should get myself one of those "points" cards.. a fuel card...

i know dad has a Mobil/Esso "smiles" thing...

Shell also has reward points..

just wondering if the others have...

also, which one gives the best rewards?

so, experienced drivers, please advice?

For mobil/esso card, I notice they give 30% more pts when petrol discount fall to 5%... this work out to another 4.8% in value but not directly on petrol purchase but faster pts gift redemption.

Hi there,

This is my first post over here.

I have got Shell card for quite some time already. I would say their points system quite tough to accumulate points and exchange for things or further discounts.

I just got my SPC Card yesterday nite. I think they just launch the card recently. I did not read the brochures properly or listen to the sales lady properly. I just filled in the form, got the card and go off already.

But i think all cards and reward points are advertising gimmicks. Just get the form and fill it up and u can get points here and there whenever u drive into a petrol station.
