Rock^Star SG This is the letter written by Sullivan Ballou to his wife, Sarah, before he fought and died in the Battle of Bull Run (American Civil War 1861). http://www.pbs.org/civilwar/war/ballou_letter.html This is the music written to commemorate it...."Ashokan Farewell". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKk4Ry4KiGI Enjoy!
Rock^Star SG Anyone appreciates the way it was written? He was willing to sacrifice his joys in life and his family in order to fight for the nation. This is some spirit very lacking in Singapore.....
