The most famous one is the apache "shot down by a farmer with an
AK-47". I doubt its true...probably a technical problem that caused
them to made an emergency landing and somehow got caught. Anyway
anti apache people have been using this case against the apache
while the friendly people up north have been using this incident to
make their case against SAF.
The flight of around 30 apaches were shot up pretty badly but I dun
think any crash, I may be wrong though. Many were grounded due to
the damage. Its actually a tatical error by the commanders for
sending them in without any air support and far from any friendly
forces.
