silv3rgal SG I’ve seen a couple of modified (externally) Toyota Vios on the road… hmm.. any comments on these cars? Do you guys think that Vios looks nice with modification( e.g TRD spoiler, sports rims etc)?

silv3rgal SG The first time i saw a modified Vios.. i found it kinda weird.. it looked like some compressed yet bulky “sports car”.... but now after seeing modified vios everywhere.. i’m starting to find them rather Ok bah.. not bad… but if i were to choose a car to modify… I wouldn’t choose Vios..
Larry SG Provided if its not "overdone" up. I have to admit when I attended their meetups, I was impressed by the extent of how u can cosmetically modified the Vios. At the same time, knowing some of the techy gurus there does help to improve performance and maintenance of my car. As long as the cosmetics are not overly done, any car looks nice.

silv3rgal SG Lolz.. yeah.. i meant..if i'm into modifying cars... Vios is definately a no-no for me... : ) I heard from my friend that it's a trend modifying vios these days.. so i just started this thread for everyone to share their views on modified Vios..
tailslide SG more ppl are modding vios because the volume of vios' being churned out far exceeds the critical mass required to keep aftermarket part manufacturers happy in order to produce more options for them. not surprising either. for the amount of money u pay for the vios, it already comes with a decent base engine and chassis. out of curiosity, why u chose to mod a ts, but not a vios? a vios can outgun the ts anytime leh.

tailslide SG i got a fren juz like u. goes ga ga over the impreza irregardless of ts, rex or sti. he doesn't even care when i explain to him the performance aspects of the vehicles. juz like the looks and dun care bout the rest. not a wise way of choosing ur ride IMO. car ownership in sg doesn't come cheap and u should investigate the pros and cons of any vehicle thoroughly before u decide juz based upon looks.

silv3rgal SG Of coz if i were to really get a ride, i'd consider other factors too esp the ride's performance... as i mentioned earlier on.. Based on its looks alone..i feel that TS looks better with modd than Vios. Thats what I'm trying to say. Just an opinion, nothing else..
