Any unpleasant or pleasant incidents with motorcyclists? What's your stand against them?

Kinda hate it when they swerve in n out of lanes/cars cause of their small size... But some of them are nice to let me pass by shifting away also, maybe because they know they're slow or small.

I drive and ride both cars and bikes. IMO, it does not matter what vehicles you are on, it is the driver that make the different. Rolling Eyes

I have experience of a lot of car drivers come to close to me just because they wanted to have a good look at my bikes. Their steer toward to where their eyes is looking(at my bike) and I have to maneuver away and wave good bye.(act cool.) Cool

I have also some experience that the bikes(Kanna 400CC Honda) wanted so much to race with my SL500. They are like following me for couple of traffic lights junctions until I zoom out into thecar park into Hyatt. KNS.

how ‘bout i give comments on drivers? don’t check blind spots, they think they own the road. how’s that for generalisation?

i don't make way for cars just because they are 'bigger' but i will move out of the way to avoid a collision and that's when they don't check their blindspot... then again some don't even check their mirrors.

i will sometimes slow down hold up the lane if i see a car trying to change lanes, some acknowledge what i've done, some think they are 'bigger' and don't appreciate road courtesy.

some cars make way during jams so that i can travel down the middle of the lane, some just don't give way and even squeeze near the broken lines when they know i'm there.

its the person operating the vehicle and it doesn't matter what vehicle it is.

Yeah lor....some really think that LTA belong to their grandpa.......or maybe grandma.

Having say this, I feel road users in Singapore r really getting better as compare to 5 years ago. More drivers give way..............like me .....I always give way to pretty woman.. Twisted Evil They always have the right of way mah.......hor right? Razz

I learnt my lesson lei.....dun believe go ask all the girls out there lor, some are really pretty and nice, some r perceive pretty, some r pretending to be pretty...........all girls, woman, lady dat r young or young at heart r pretty lah. Wink

bikes, dun squeezeee in to moving cars... dun keep on riding slow in fast lane with the convoy of cars behind you.. both ways, u r the one in potential danger.

cars, treat the bikes like one vehicle on the road to share, dun push out from the lane, its risking his life and a small scratch on your car. dun hog and drive slow slow on fast lane where u notice a bike is behind coz some bikes really can go faster than you..

both riders and drivers, dun switch lane in front of the car if the one is driving faster than you. he needs to brake when u r overtaking slower than him. its dangerous for bikes as they only have two wheels to stop when you cut in.

ladies, if u drive slow, move to slower lane. dun signal and switch lane same time.
