Don't under estimate the defense of our LST, the defense of it
is not anything less than that of the missile covertte. It have
guns, anti-air / anti-missile missile system, anti-missile
guns.
It is well defense as you have vehicles, troops and heli, more
things to lose. The only thing it lack of is the attack
weapons.
The important is it it have the room, it is suitable that make it a
good flagship. You are out to win a war, not a beauty
contest.
What wrong with a woman on the helm ? there are good one and the
bad one ! If you refering to that patrol boat incident, the blame
is on the superivor officer ( happen to be a man ) for not taking
over command when he should, when the trainee make mistake if not
why she is trainee.
I have meet with some of the best women in the SAF, some of them
even happen to be my instructors in GPMG, Law ...etc. There are
some real good ones out there, just too bad that you have not meet
them yet.
