Naught By Nature Studio is getting more and more daring, I've heard. Sure lives up to it's name!They're hitching on the public's misconception of model style photoshoots as 'glamourous'. It's nothing glam. Any photographer interested might do for you, even for free.

NOTE: DO NOT quote me on the last phrase. This varies by person.

haha...i had done my shots there b4, i ask it is free the sales pp said yes, so i took, after dat i c them carry a file, i noe its packages liao....i did not lose anything, btw the boss is a young 20+angmo...cos he tried to promote Laughing

my fren kena conned lor.

signed $2.5k package.

then she regretted.

she went alone, and signed under duress.

after that she called and asked whether can refund.

the person told her can, juz email to whoever.. and return all the things to the studio blah blah.

so i went back with her, and they asked her to contact somebody.

her sis called up, and that customer service officer scolded her sis, say my fren was stupid. They make money this way wor, how can they let her refund? Then said my fren should be the one who do the calling etc.

My fren and her sis made a complaint to CASE lor, and had interview with The NewPaper etc.. but no way could she get the money back.

somehow the cust service officer dared my fren to go make a CASE report.

she said they know their rights.

so i think they are in the gray line.

Sorry, I don't understand.

It seems that scams can't be stopped by CASE.

Is it because the customer signed (willingly, pressured or forced or otherwise) and that CASE deals with only unfair consumer cases?

i only know that she reported to CASE and till now no justice is done lor.

The only way is to sue. Or go by Small Claims tribunals.

Threaten legal action.

she juz take it as a painful lesson learnt.

with that money, she could jolly well go on a tour liao.

i kena called before...the lady told me i won in some lucky draw a free makeover(or some facial thing) plus photo shoot. for the photo shoot, i have to bring my own clothes, 2 sets). when i asked them which lucky draw i participated in, she said it was a lucky draw at orchard rd during the great spore sale. i was thinking..siao ah i didnt buy anything at orchard rd during tat period, how come i can win this 'lucky draw'?

anyway i wanted to hang up the call as soon as possible so when she asked when i can go down, i anyhow made up an appt with her. when i got home, i googled their number to check info on them. found out that it was a scam so i eventually put them on aeroplane for the appt. Rolling Eyes Laughing

actually they got ur contact thru ur contact (frens, relatives etc).

that's wat my fren told me. They dun anyhow give away the makeover, you muz be within the network.

i went actually, since they say its free whatever i thoughti might pop by.

i didnt mind the whole bit until their hard selling

consultant: *blahblah* you looked lovely in them
me: no i looked bad, the makeup was overdone and horrendous and the pictures taken was just as crappy. (i had been to professional make up studios and they did a better job just in the makeup alone)
consultant: no no i think its just fine besides if you think its not as perfect we can touch up with photoshop

me: *totally unimpressed. you think only you know how to photoshop ah?* oh alright.....

*the consultant started to click around with photoshop - i have no idea why he thinks i would be impressed with the effects, anyway he wasnt fantastic either and i pretended to be impressed and his hopes raised.

when it was done

me: but i still look crap....and that dress made me look fat (oknot the dress fault...when your over a 100 kg everything makes you look fat)

*shows me pictures of how they make fat people look thin with PHOTOSHOP!

me: oh its a nice offer, but your makeup skills are crappy, im not sure i wanna pay such a high price for it, well the photoshopping is good (i refer to the samples) i might consider, but right now with my current crap pictures i refused to.

him: oh if you come back on another time you will need to pay more....*blahs about special offer today*

me: i dont care. if i want something i will pay for it. if i dontwant soemthing no matter how good the offer is, i wont buy it.

*im so stubborn that he eventually had to give me my promised 2 pictures in the form of a cd.

I saw the people who went there for makeover.. mostly rich people.

Think they got too much money to spend.

Well, either you bring them to SCT if you feel if you have a case.

Talking shop ain't going to do much good. Just look at the MLM forum, full of hot air and no concrete action.
