it's about the same price actually. the thing is the looks of a
bag on a website is often insufficient info to make your decision
as to whether you will like the bag. it's safer if you head down to
the shop and actually look at it. then you will be able to find out
more about the actual size, whether it fits your daily load of
items you carry around, how the compartments are like, is it
comfortable on your shoulders, etc.
crumpler bags are pretty tough and the chickenTex material is not
soft, so it's not as "flexible" as cloth or canvas ones. one tip is
to bring your current sling bag or backpack with your items and do
a test. the shop personel will allow you to put your stuff in any
of their bags to see if you like the weight distribution and
comfort of whatever crumpler bag you are doing this test on.
