I wonder who told u poly can slack sia.

Ever since I'm in NP, I never felt slack before.

I had been undergoing stress.. that my health worsened.

less than 2 months left at NP, but I still got 8 projects on hand!!!

If you determined to go JC, then don't get yourself into relationships.

You don't have time for relationships lor.

4 out of 5 of my JC friends, they don't have much free time to go out with steads, then end up breakups or quarrels.

As I said before, holidays are not meant to enjoy one, meant for further practising of exam qns and studying harder to pass.

The panic is there when you know you can't make it lor.

Maybe you can pass somehow in the end, but then if your results not good enough, you think you can make it to Uni???

One of my friends is in relationship, then suffered badly, didn't do well in exams and tests, undergo depression when results are very bad.

Now she needs consultation somemore lor.

I agree with you. But then when holidays come, you can really slack more than you want!

As long as you do your tutorials, listen to lecture, and do finish project, confirm can pass one lor!

Holidays come liao, no need to do homework, can go work or slack all you like. In fact, I grow fat when I in holidays everyday watching anime and going out to watch movies.

Aiyo... 1 project only meh? I JC 1 that time got GP project, Chinese Project, Physics Project, Maths project, and CCA activities and still got those school outings and doing charity works lor.

U all complain stress,regardless of JC or poly lah,when u enlist army the 1st day,u sure feel like flying back to your sch n hug your sch,your lecturers/teachers.Trust me.

no leh.. holidays go attachment..

even if got holiday also very short.. u stress for so many mths then holiday.. it's like not enough lor..

this coming holiday i so called graduate liao..

but might need to go back for my integrated project presentation..

i think there's no guarantee that as long as one listen to lecture, do tutorials and projects, he will pass.. there are other factors that might affect one's grades.

Sian sia i now secondary already stress liao lor... my mother keep want me go TJC now i no choice but to pia 6 -8 hours a day liao zz...

NP business studies definitely not slack.

Everytime I go see doc, they ask me which sch im from.

I told them NP BUSINESS.

Their reply is always 'very stress'. Laughing

Hmm, ur poly seems different from mine! lol. I got 2 months of holidays lor, no need to go attachments or stuff leh.
The only time I stress is during job attachment for one semester, project super hard to do and need to prepare for presentation.

Other factors like what?

I got a friend 40 plus yrs old get Lee Kuan Yew award lor.
another one much older than me also got Gold award.
They have much stressful lives as they need to spare time for family members and work as well lor.

Sometimes, the stress of someone is just peanuts to others.

Be brave enough to face one's stress is the best.

Well, everyone if poly and uni life is tough , wait till you move into the working society. Poly is project based which is very much preparing you for your time in university or ya working life outside. You have to learn to work with all kinds of people , the responsible and lazy ones , the clever and the slow ones. Do not expect to survive alone in the society. You will more likely die alone.

JC is no way easier than Poly. In yr1 , you gotta make sure you pass your exams to promote. In yr2 , you gona do well enough to make sure you get to a decent course in uni.

After which, your time in Uni will be a totally different experience as compared to JC or Poly life though I agree that poly makes that transition much smoother. So , do try to adjust to life in poly or else you might struggle in the working society.

40+ still can get such awards?

All i know is that to get such awards, they must be very active in CCA also leh!

other factors such as stress, things that happened at home also lah..

My dad passed away last yr and I took 2 weeks leave from sch.

Could not catch up with my sch work.. by the time I return sch it was common test period liao.. I failed one common test.. but i passed the retest..

till date, I have never failed any module.

And I keep my fingers crossed that I will not fail any this semester~!

I can't wait to get outta NP~!

Age is not a problem in poly lah.
As long as you work hard enough.
I learnt alot from this friend of mine.
Taught me to be more independant and more responisible in my own work.
