In case anyone didn't notice, SM Goh Chok Tong was sitting in
this car, with registration plates S1, in
yesterday's parade :s It looks distinctly like a W220 to me, but to
the best of my knowledge didn't this series only begin production
is 1999?
President Nathan was in another similar car, but his plates were
deliberately shielded.
Anyone has any idea of what his plates are?
S8?
President Nathan's car plates are not shielded, its just a coat
of arms logo. that particular S-class is an armoured car, only used
for NDP parades. normally he uses his Lexus, plate SEP1.
SM Goh's car is a Merc E-class, not an S-class. and his plate is
S3. MM Lee's car, also a Merc E-class, is plate S2. the car, plate
S1, is PM Lee Hsien Loong's car. the plates are arranged in order
of holding power.
