Technically speaking, PES C can sign on in non-combat vocation,
namely Logistics specialist (i.e. Supply Supervisor or Transport
Supervisor) or Engineering specialist (auto tech, etc). Notice I
use the term "technically" 'cos SAF frequently contradicts itself
with its policies. Just call up Army recruitment & you'll know
what I mean.
One joker told me point blank that SAF does not accept PES C
regulars. Another joker told me that PES C if want to sign on then
as DXO-EA but not uniformed. A third joker said PES C can join in
non-combat vocation.
So until such day when SAF can make up its mind & get all its
ARC ppl to sing the same tune, I suggest you find employment in an
organisation which can make up its mind.
