RaTtY81 SG

provide pics??

the.raven SG

MIG 21?

dunno LOL

ditzy SG

The F-5, yes the ones in service in our own republic.

tankee1981 SG

Yes pls provide pics. I think the MIG 21 is only ok looking. However the F-5S in RSAF are quite good looking. I think there is a WW2 US plane where they joined the fuselages of two planes together. I think that is ugly. Very Happy

the.raven SG

mustang something or other? I think thats pretty cool wad

ditzy SG

One man’s sweet is another’s poison.

Mig 15
http://gunpoint-3d.com/model-Mig15.html

the.raven SG

hmm mig 15 is not that bad. how about those lousy planes the British used to defend Singapore against zeros? I bet they probably look like Shit.

baer SG

You mean the twin mustang, also done for the He111 (called the He888 I think),

My vote McDonnell XF-85 Goblin or Lockheed XFV-1 see
http://www.edwards.af.mil/history/docs_html/aircraft/strange_planes.html

the Boeing JSF Design - X-35 (penguin or plane?)
see http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/jsf.htm

yuck!!

the.raven SG

u crazy?!?!?!? JSF is ugly?!?! it looks cooler than a F22!!

oh ok the boeing one...not that bad la, I think it looks cute, same for the planes in the link above, look like cartoon planes Laughing

anyone knows what planes were used to defend singapore against the Japs??

baer SG

Still more

on twin mustang see http://www.unrealaircraft.com/hybrid/f82_mustang.php

the Tupolev TB-3 at http://www.trincoll.edu/~ncurtis/greenline/tb3.html, or http://www.ctrl-c.liu.se/misc/ram/tb-3.html see the photo where the TB-3 has three bi-planes strapped onto its wings!!!!

Also Me-232 Gigant at http://www.trincoll.edu/~ncurtis/greenline/gigant.html (technically a glider)

The He twin bemouth was contructed by cutting two Heinkel bombers in half, the Luftwaffe improvised the Zwilling or Twin to get the Gigant airborne. see http://www.unrealaircraft.com/hybrid/He111Z.php

baer SG

the pork barrel aircraft are Brewster Buffalos see http://hkkk.fi/~yrjola/war/faf/brewster.html

21 (RAAF) Sqn code GA-B
Aircraft: Buffalo I
1941 Sembawang, Singapore

also see a review of a book to try give reason why aircraft shot down like crows in PPD cull excercise.
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1904010326/104-0342263-1972725#product-details

For listing of aircraft see http://www.wwii1939-1941.com/campaigns/december1941-planes.html which appear suspect as I remembern some Hawker Hurricanes (too few too late) as well as other 'car-lar-faire' bi-planes etc. like Vickers Vildebeest etc.

sbst275 SG

F-5 is not ugly, it looks cute due to its small size

F-117 is the ugliest

MiG21, MiG23/27, SU-17/20/22, Rafale (When painted in brown) as well

arburthen? SG

I think the bronco OV is the ugliest, wif head like dragonfly

but 1 of the most versatile, I heard runs on normal vehicle petrol or diesel.
