How to become recce scout?

erm..i dunno that..but the goggles frame are brown in colour..and the condition they are in..are bad..the sponge-like thing always drop off.

Hmm, interesting aspect coz my armskoteman rides with us. Combat trooper and not storeman. Very Happy Then again, might differ for different units.

Yeah, the conditions of the issued googles really leaves much to be desired. Which is why I spend a little extra to get a better pair. Quite handy for doing TAG ops and other stuff as well.

actually in the estab, scouts muz be able to survive on their own for 48 hrs while brc are 72 hrs (this means there's no resup of ration n batteries during this time)... scouts are for bn level while brc as the name implies, is for the bde level... there are jeepers and bikers in the scout platoon estab while the brc only have bikers (i heard they operate the m113 also)... the make up of the scout teams and brc teams is also different...

there r many other differences but due to obvious reasons i can't say much here...

googles?ya issued but who the hell wear those..it look like some freaking aliens..dun wanna be laugh by road users..and its uncomfortable..every exercise we inhaled lots of dust..blind by dust from LCK..esp if u are behind vehicles..so always try means and ways to be the 1st vehicle in convey

maybe you guys are using those crappy old uvex brand goggles - wore them before and i agree, they're pathetic. but now we've changed to these smith goggles, they're very good. comfortable, look nice, brand new somemore.

haha yes must always try to be the front vehicle. if not when you take off your goggles you'll look like a panda what with all the red limchukang dust.

Lurska, no harm in telling your PC. If ask him to help, you have a chance, if don't totaly depend on luck, may as well ask.

Pes B should not be a issue. The army will provide bike training.

Yupz, BRC troopers gotta take whatever they'd need for the entire mission either on their backs or bikes. Resupply isn't always an available option. Considering that the troopers hv to carry supplies for a long duration on only 3 or less bikes or walk, operating in enemy territory for abt 72hrs not knowing if they'd be extracted or to carry on on an extend mission & carry out their team orders without being detected, now that would give u a rough idea of what recce forces do for a living.

BTW the armoured BRC uses the M113, at least back in abt 6yr ago they did. Kekekeke... Infantry or Guards BRC don use the M113. Just bikes or their own 2 feet. Wink

PES is just a grading. In my camp last time got a PES C cook ! who took up jogging for fun, soon he is even giving some PES A folks a run for their money.

Well your buddy is smart, this is training not real war time, so there is nothing wrong with "never do anything that will compromise your safety" save any hero act till war time.
