Actually it’s cheapest to buy those China parallel imports. Average prices around $10. They might look like pirated CDs and even the English CDs have Chinese...

shadez SG

This only applies to people who buy albums. If you download, don't post here, unless you purchase from iTunes, in which case, you may post.

For me, it's usually either Music Junction or HMV.
Music Junction as it is nearby.
HMV for it's wide selection but the downside are it's sometimes overpriced cd's. Neutral

So where do you get your music cd's from?

ditzy SG

Geez, I can't remember, must've been zillions of years ago. Laughing

^tamago^ SG

Gordonator SG

sembawang usually sells the cheapest. depending on which branch. for me, i only buy jay’s albums. the rest i just get it from those kind souls here willing to share.

^tamago^ SG

yeah. i get downloads for albums, then decide if i shld get the second edition later which comes with DVD.

these music companies ah, wan to earn two times... Twisted Evil

dakkon_blackblade SG

Usually HMV or Sembawang. I hardly ever get CDs from elsewhere. It’s not actually true that HMV is always overpriced; for chart-toppers and sale items it’s cheaper than Sembawang, for example.

Gordonator SG

exactly, usually when a singer release an album, don't buy them so fast. unless u want it for collection, i recommend to wait for their 2nd edition, usually comes with DVD of MVs etc. for example singers like Jolin, S.H.E, Cyndi, Wilbur Pan, Rainie Yang etc, confirm guarantee plus chop they will release 2nd edition. Laughing

jay never release 2nd editions for all his album eventhough his always sell the most.

shadez SG

Jay's album are always worth the money. Did you notice that his albums always come with a bonus VCD with MV's of his best songs in the album. Can't wait for his new album!

Oh, and the "Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift" soundtrack is awesome. The Tokyo Drift song by Teriyaki BoyZ is the best! Smile

OasisBlue SG

chinatown new market…the store within the temporary market…

Gordonator SG

chinatown got 1 shop near the old cinema and the police complex sells very cheap original CDs. usually 2, 3 dollars cheaper than the average stores.
