Its hard for even the most fundamental Buddhist to preach against giving wrong image, because he himself is guilty of such actions.

Thats why I said from the beginning, clean your own house first, and by these 'cleaning', I should have included, clean up your own damn act.

Wow, so an action can be wrong or not in line with a faith's teachings, as long as it doesnt give bad image.

So both CNY and HGF are part of Chinese folk tradition, even Buddhists can practise it, but if it gives a bad image, it should be highlighted.

What a load of crap. Obviously, this has always been an image issue, not doctrinal issue or bad practices.

Can you stop side tracking? My personality is irrelevant here. Being angsty to bring bad image isnt the same as burning paper to offer to the dead to bring wrong understanding of buddhism. You can say that my practise is no good, yes, but the fact that buddhism doesnt teach u to burn things is a fact.

BTW I only tried meditating once and I failed.

Nope, its to the core issue, which we have discussed from page two or so, so I dont know what is this thing about your personality.

Buddhism is a faith of self cultivation, gaining experience and merits, not blatant preaching.

I hope this statement can tell you what I mean.

You are a student so does that mean you cannot go arcade to play? As long as you know that playing all day in the arcade doesn't give you a bright future while studying does, you can still play in it.

If it gives a bad image why won't I highlight it?
