Changes provide higher torque (up to 20% more) vs Evo VIII MR
across wider band of usable rpms.
Handling:
Improved aerodynamics (new front and rear bumper design)
stiffer springs for rear Bilstein
Cosmetics:
dark chrome inserts for front and rear taillights vs matte black
for MR vs chrome for VIII
chrome pedals vs rubber pedals for MR and VIII
matte silver insert near the head unit (similar to E
vs textured grey on MR
Evo 7, GTA, 8, MR and 9 are using the same CT9A chassis but there
are some differences.
eg the bonnet used in the IX, VIII and MR are lighter than the
VII.
the aluminium roof in the MR and IX (sans sunroof) is lighter than
steel versions in VIII, VII and IX (with sunroof)
