polarsnake SG Is it all right to turn around , grab the chair, twist the body and crack the spine? I do this often recently and I'm worried that there would be certain side effects in the long run..
mhcampboy SG yar.. i heard abt it too... cracking fingers also no good.. wait old get brittle bones..
starblue SG /raises eyebrow at youngsters these days. actually, cracking of fingers is nothing lah. you're not actually cracking any bone, just making the tiny air bubbles in the joint explode nia. not harmful at all.
polarsnake SG Even if you use ten kidney dialysis machines to clean your blood also no use... blood too dirty already
SGpork SG yea sometimes sit too long..nv move..get up..nth to do..will crack abit..especially after sitting quite sometime infront the comp or after a movie..
missqi SG i normally give my body a full "crackout". first the toes, then ankles, then knees, then pelvis, then back, then fingers, then neck.
*Lord Kang* SG i do this all the time..After cracking, my back will find slightly better..I started doing this when i know my spine got problem..Don't know whether got link or not..If doesn't crack it, it doesn't feels right sometimes..
juzernie SG hmmm... while doing human biology, i asked one of my lecturers (who is a doctor by profession) on this question. told me it was nothing wrong or harmful of the sounds that are made. when you 'crack' your knuckles, what you are doing is releasing the lactic acid that is built up within. *no idea whether is it correct or wrong but since he is a doctor, i just take his word for it *
ShutterBug SG Hey, you mean to say, air bubbles form in between our joints that's why we get all this popping sounds when we twist our backs?? Heck, if so, I'm producing air bubbles at phenomenal rates!
