German culture has much to be desired: efficiency and organization
is their hallmark, something our culture totally lacks. Learning an
european language is also an added advantage, since Singapore is
beginning to open up and attract european businesses and joint
ventures.
And for those ignorant few, most Germans speak English. As part of
standard european cirriculum, they are obliged to learn native
German and two other european languages; and most choose English as
one of them.
