You have said yourself that you are using it in an aircon
environment, the exchange of air would make it impossible for the
ozone to build up and thus never reach a dangerous level.
The max permissible limit of 0.05ppm is no where near the dangerous
level of ozone emission.
In fact, in the article you quoted 0-50 levels of ozone is
considered good and no precautions need to be taken. If you take 50
ppm, the ozone emission for the neotec products are 1000 times
lower than the upper level of a GOOD rating.
Good point though, but already covered earlier in another
reply.
I'm not tech. inclined, but i understand that split unit a/c
circulate air within the room, so the x'change of air is not
possible, unlike those central a/c systems used in shopping
malls.
The EPA website article that i highlighted indicated 0-50
AQI index, I believe you have misread it as
0-50ppm. The S'pore NEA max. indoor ozone level is 0.05ppm, EPA
being as stringent cannot be so far off.
Wat i'm looking for is if there're any air ionizer that does not
emit ozone, that wld put my mind at ease.
