What does a plant engineer do?

close to logistics, some bridge parts are stored on pallets, will need forklift to unload them.

i got this vocation. Does any plant engineer here know about the job scope and whether xiong or not. Also which camp will i be posted to after i complete my plant course?

you drive bulldozers, cranes and other construction equipments. I think got some plant company available, but dunno under which engineers formation, but my guess is most likely 30SCE.

your work is to provide plant support for Div / Bde and build fortified positions

don't worry too much about it, plant engineer not as bad as field engineers.

you'll be posted to SOCE ETW for plant training. you'll learn how to operate excavator, dozers, shovels, etc at plant hill. isolated corner at area D, not a bad place. with luck, you may be sent to attend MHE course where u'll learn crane and forklift..

during ICT (in the far future), exercise mainly dig hole, road improvement and etc..

The good think about the plant engineer is that you use your machinery to do all the digging and moving of stuff. Don't worry it is good life.

but with all the machinery, you can get very very depressed when it comes to deployment..

Imagine you have to camo the machine and then dig your shellscrape. the machine (Kobe excavator) can dig the hole for you in less than 10 seconds..... and you cannot use it... Mad Mad

wat they stated is corrected….plant engineers r relax n u get get one of the highest vocation pay for nsf…..35 sce plant super relax 30 sce plant oso quite relax but cannot compared to the plant in 35 sce…

I was from 35 SCE during my ns days in the early 90s.All i can say is that plant coy is super relax,go exercise always park their dump trucks/excavators in one side and sleep the whole day thru while bridging engineers like me have to construct bridges Sad
Dun know about plant engineers in 30 SCE,maybe they hang around coy garden planting flowers Laughing
