they're good to do it until dhoby ghaut to let ppl change to
SMRT though it's likely to impact on frequency, cos there are no
crossover tracks near dhoby ghaut. the nearest is the overrun
tunnel between little india and farrer park.
the same thing happened 2 yrs ago i think. another event was the
interruption at punggol. apparently, a faulty 56k modem was the
culprit. trains had to turn back at sengkang crossing.
