The SPIKE article is a joke. The author for that article mixed up the Rafael's SPIKE missile and the SPIKE missile which is being developed by the Naval Air Warfare Centre. Yes. There are TWO missiles which are named SPIKE.

I'm sure we are damn familiar with the Rafael SPIKE which we are using, but the other SPIKE is a very small and VERY cheap missile with an IIR guidance, which means it is essentially fire-and-forget. However, its warhead is correspondingly small, and its target set consists of mainly thin-skinned vehicles or lightly armoured vehicles at most. In fact, this missile was designed with the Korean theatre in mind, for use against saturation attacks by N.Korean attack boats.

I read that US is planning to develop to space super weapon that has 2 satelites, one is for targeting, the other one is for firing. the targeting one targets, and then the other one firings a tungsten dart (If I’m not wrong, using electromagnetic field, similar to a rail gun) the dart can travel at mach 7 in atmosphere and can destroy ANY Shit. (the dart is not explosive, it is just a piece of tungsten traveling super fast)
