mmm i just sailed past CNB yesterday, and I saw LHD-2, if i'm
not wrong is the USS Essex, docked at CNB, decks filled with sea
stallions (?) and chinooks, plus a few planes on the aft part of
its main deck.. anyone know what planes these are? that can take
off from a helo carrier...
there were also large ships that were present there that were about
the size of our LSTs (as they were parked next to them), i din see
much, although one of them had a pennant number of 49, and if i
remember correctly, it should be the USS Vincennes..although it din
look much like a ticonderoga class to me..any other US or foreign
large sized ships with the pennant number 49?
mmm i haven't been following the news recently as i was at
sea..although i heard stuff abt Donald Rumsfeld visiting us..is
that related to the visit?
